What a perfect day for kayaking down the Weeki Wachee River in Florida's Nature Coast . My thanks to Bobbi Glenn for organizing a morning of indulging in Nature's beauty and networking with Realtor friends.
What a great opportunity to get together with friends and meet spouses and their children. We were blessed with an abundance of wildlife viewings, from giant turtles, schools of mullet, Manatees, cranes and a deer!
As we drifted past a residential area, a crane landed and walked up to the door of the house, appearing as though it was waiting for a treat.
The weather was beautiful, and the serenity found in Nature was unparalleled. Drifting down the winding river, we stopped and admired the tranquility of our surroundings, ate a leisurely lunch in the shallows and gently landed at Roger's Park, where the van was waiting to pick us up and bring us back to Weeki Wachee Springs.
