I recently went to visit a friend in New Mexico, and always have my camera and flip video with me. I am perpetually curious, and always ready to capture the interesting, the silly, the bizarre, the beautiful, and sometimes, the ridiculous.
As we were driving through the country, enjoying the scenery, and noticed this sign.
It was too good/silly/scary not to share. I would have been glad for the notice if I was tempted to pick up a hitchhiker, but really...who picks up hitchhikers today?
It was a normal way of travelling back in the '60's when I was a teenager, and my dad said he travelled around the country as a "HOBO" during the great depression but this is a different world.
I have never seen anythng like this anywhere I have ever travelled.
